AIDS was found in United States from some homosexual males in 1982. This is a infections disease and can make people die. But at first, the United States responded to AIDS very slowly because they did not pay attention . In 1982, researchers found that AIDS was transmitted blood-to -blood and the pregnancy’s women. After one year, French scientists identified the cause of AIDS, and named it HIV. Unfortunately, between 1984 and 1989, more and more people got AIDS, especially young teenagers and African American men. According to statistics HIV/AIDS became a worldwide problem, and made more than 21million people die. In 2000, the U.S government spent $2.1 billion to produce some advances that can treat ADIS. When experts found something can treatment, they were not optimistic. Because the virus is changing very fast and it directly attacks the human immune system. Under this circumstance, what should we do?The best way is acviod having unprotected sex or use the disposable needles. There are three factors make developing prevention programs more complex. First, too many people got this disease,so it became a huge project. Second, people attitudes to sexual behavior, the reason is that they often unwilling the safety sexual behaviour. At last, the developing prevention programs became complex and this chance made people not pay attention to it. If people want to defeat HIV/ AIDS. They must change the attitude of the sexual behavior and pay attention the illegal drugs.
