The artical talked about gene therapy for inherited blindness can make the sight improve. This gene therapy technoloy could have significant implication for the eye treatment in the furture. Leber’s congenital amaurosis is a rare inherited eye disease caused by an abnormality in the gene called RPE65( from ucl.ac.uk). It can make a littlt baby loses vision in a few months. So the doctors find the gene to treat their diseases.
This is a good way to help some people who had rhe hereditary disease. These genetic tests maybe can eliminate a number of incurable genetic diseases. If the researchers can bring the sunlight to these baby,it will make them have a happy life like normal companions.
